Obituary For Scott Trippel

Scott Trippel, born on June 25, 1959, passed away unexpectedly in Atlanta Georgia on April 14, 2019. Scott was a resident of Senoia, Georgia, formerly of Land O’Lakes, FL. And Oak Forest, IL. He was the loving husband of Derender (nee Maddux), originally from Valley, AL, for 27 years. Proud father of Scott (Andrea) and Mathew. Cherished Grandfather of Addison and Emma. Devoted son of the late Robert and late Audrey (nee Scholer). Dear brother to the late Susan (Phil) Robinson. Adored uncle of Michelle (Jeff) Mila (nee Robinson) and Kimberly (Danny) Bryja (nee Robinson). Caring great-uncle to Brandon Mila, Kali Bryja and Autumn Bryja. In addition, he was a welcome and essential part of the Maddux family.

Scott was a Northerner by birth, but a Southerner by the grace of God. Born in Chicago, IL, he spent his early life in Oak Forest, IL until his career moved him south where he found true happiness living in Florida and Georgia with the love of his life, Derender. He shared his affection for Florida with his son, Matthew. A salesman for over 37 years, Scott loved spending time with people and entertaining. He never met a stranger, and in his travels across the country, Scott shared his passion for life and great sense of humor with many people, making countless friends. Scott was a compassionate, vibrant, intelligent, and loving person. Scott had a magnetic personality, and when he was in the room, there was always fun and laughs to be had. He was remarkably kind-hearted, genuine, and honest to a fault. He was an advisor to many, including his sons and nieces, and he helped guide them along their way. Scott was in his true element telling stories, talking politics, cooking a delicious meal (especially on the grill), listening to rock music, and drinking a cold Budweiser. He will be greatly missed.

Guest Book

I am one of the many customers of Scott Trippel. We had not worked together for very long, but he had endeared himself to me with his wit, grace and honesty. He had a wonderful business acumen but more than that, he genuinely cared for the people around him. He was not afraid to open up and share about himself and his wonderful family whom he obviously loved and was so very proud of. I too will miss my friend and am heartbroken in hearing this sad, sad news. My prayers go out for his family that they may find peace in the very full and giving life that Scott shared with us all. In talking with him and getting to know him, I know we will meet again. God Bless you Scott Trippel.

I only knew Scott for a few years through a professional relationship, but in that short time grew to consider him a friend. He was genuine, warm, outgoing and he truly never met a stranger. He loved his family and our conversations during joint travel were as much about family as business. He was simply a great guy (and salesman) and his enthusiasm for life and for his work was inspiring and contagious. I was heartbroken and to hear this sad news and my prayers are with his family and also his work family. I will miss my friend. Bob Guarino

Dear Ren and family of Scott, Please accept our deepest heartfelt sympathy of the loss of Scott. He was the most kind and caring man that we ever met, not to mention handsome, strong, smart and funny. He loved you Ren so much. He loved everyone in his family. When someone entered his home, he welcomed him or her with open arms. We will miss him too much and forever cherish the wonderful memories that you and Scott gave us. May God be with you and your family. Love, The Skairus family
