Exavier B. "Pokey" Tucker

Mr. Exavier B. "Pokey" Tucker, 56, of West Point, Georgia, returned to the arms of the Lord on July 25, 2026 at the Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, Georgia.

Exavier Bernard Tucker, “Pokey” as known to many, was born January 19, 1970 to the late Evelyn Avery Tucker and Miller Tucker in Camilla, Georgia. He passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026 at the Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, Georgia.

Exavier was a member of the Troup County Comprehensive High School graduating class of 1988. This class was the first to graduate from this campus after the consolidation of West Point High School and Troup High School. After graduation he immediately enlisted in the United States Army where he served for four years.

“Pokey” was a die heart Dallas Cowboy Fan. He would be glued to the television when ever they played. He and his homies all shared their love for those Cowboys and did not mind letting you know how their feelings. He wore his Dallas Cowboy’s paraphernalia with great pride.

In 1996 Pokey met Princess and they celebrated their marriage on July 16, 2005. They share seven children together whom he deeply loved.

Exavier was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Elmore Menefield, Jr.; maternal grandparents,Virgil Davidson and Parrie Lee Avery; paternal grandparents, Ernest Tucker, Sr. and Willie Mae Alexander; grandmother-in-law, Lula Mae Menefield; aunt and uncles.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife, Neketti Princess Tucker; son, Cameron Wheeler and Kailan Menefield; daughter, Teyonna Tucker, Tejhana Tucker, KenydiTucker, Eboney Goss (Lekeldric) and Mia Menefield; grandchildren, Cameron Wheeler, Jr., Casey Wheeler, Kinsley Wheeler, JaKayla Brown, Jada Menefield, Armani Tucker, Deliala Tucker, Jazmin Hall, Kadon Goss, Jaiden Menefield, Dazman Anderson, McKenzi Anderson and Bailee Hurston; Brothers, Thesius Tucker, Thaddius Tucker and Kristopher McTush (Amy); sister, Trevis Tucker Jackson (Da’Ron); mother-in-law, Martha Menefield; brothers-in-law, Maurice Ingram (Tammy) and Marcus Evans (Lynn); aunts, Beverly Cook (Willie), Hazel Alexander, Linda Winston, Betty Avery Jackson, Gwendolyn Jones (Wayne), Gloria Jones, Vera Winston, Angela Davidson and Cindy Dix; uncles, Edward Tucker, Michael Alexander and Vernon Avery; God son, Tavis James; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
