With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the peaceful transition of Mother Willie Mae Maybell of Union Springs, Alabama.

Mother Maybell transitioned into eternity on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the age of 99.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, June 12, 2026, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00pm from the sanctuary of the Back To God Ministries, 2645 Peachburg Rd., Union Springs, AL.

The eulogy will be given by Pastor B.T. Toney.

The caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of Mother Willie Mae Maybell.
