Mr. Arthur Lee Thornton, Sr., passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on August 6, 1948, to the late Claude White and Johnnie Will Thornton in Richland, GA, and married to Sharon Thornton.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Thornton, Sr. will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle Baptist Community Church.

Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Progressive. Visitation will continue on Friday at Progressive at 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., then again at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle.
