Ms. Katie Mae Lane (Renfus) passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on February 18, 1934, to the late James Renfus and Mary Guerry Renfus, in Dooly County, GA.

The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Lane will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at New Mt Zion Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Main Post Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 at Progressive.
