Rosalie Noteman

05/16/1939 - 04/06/2026

With hearts full of gratitude for her life and sorrow for her passing, we announce the death of our beloved mother, Rosalie Noteman, age 86. Rosalie passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in her home in Gainesville, Georgia.

Born and raised in Kansas, Rosalie later moved to Georgia, where she raised her two daughters. She was a woman of deep faith and quiet strength, known for her selfless devotion and service to her church and their food pantry. In her final days, she found peace in the changing seasons, patiently awaiting the springtime return of the hummingbirds. Her love for irises and the delicate beauty of nature was a reflection of her own gentle spirit.

Rosalie is survived by her daughters, Wendy Tillirson (husband Vincent) and Merilee Dyer; her granddaughters, Emma and Holly Tillirson; and her siblings, Kathleen Bechtel, Allen Noteman (wife Stacia), Carolyn Riley, and Lee Noteman (wife Julie). She also leaves behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Holly and Laura Lee Noteman, and her siblings, Gloria Noteman and Maurine Pruitt.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Rosalie will be held on April 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Cumming First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to United Women in Faith - Food Pantry, PO Box 606, Cumming, GA 30028.

The Central Cremation Services staff considers it a privilege to support the family of Rosalie Noteman during this time.

Please do not send flowers.
