Mitchel Allen Bailey, “Mitch”, 26, of Toccoa, GA, formerly from Ashland, KY, passed peacefully at NorthEastern Georgia Medical Center on March 14th, 2026. He was a devoted, loyal friend and enjoyed spending time laughing with them.

Mitchel is preceded in death by his mother, Angela Chaffin and his grandmothers, Karen Lee Smith and Janet Fuller.

He is survived by his grandfathers, Bill Bailey Sr., and James “Smitty” Smith. His father, Bill Bailey Jr. His sister, Britani Bailey Cox (Tae Cox Bailey). His brother William “Scott” Bailey. His twin sister Megan Bailey-Brewer (Gage Brewer). His nephews Brandon Gillum, Eric Salmons and Waylon Brewer. His nieces Nevaeh Gillum and Violet Salmons. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss him.

Mitchel and his fiancé, Tammy Goza had been happily engaged since August 24th, 2024.
He had a strong love for animals, and truly cherished his cat, “Baby”.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at NorthEastern Georgia Medical Center for making his last moments peaceful.
