Obituary For Dorothy Ann Cotton

Dorothy Ann Cotton, 80, of West Point GA passed away on February 23, 2019 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange GA.

The family will greet friends on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 3:00 pm EST at Reeds Chapel Baptist Church, West Point GA.

Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 pm EST at Reeds Chapel Baptist Church.

Interment will follow the service at Marseille Cemetery in West Point Georgia.

Ann was born on February 12, 1939 to the late James and Dorothy Andrews in Hogansville Georgia.

Ann is survived by her sons Al(Betty Jean) Cotton of Lanett AL, Mossy(Sherry) Cotton of Lanett, AL; Grandchildren Amy(Jody) Walker of Lanett Al, Jason(Crystal) Cotton of Valley AL, Jonathan Cotton of Athens GA; Great Grandchildren Hunter Stanfield Lanett AL, Brayden Walker Lanett AL, Cameron Cotton Valley AL, Chloe Cotton of Valley Al. ; Niece Cynthia(Gary) Tibbs of Marietta, GA, Brother in Law Tommy Cunningham of Roanoke, AL; Cousins Debbie Staley and family of Hogansville, GA, Lynn McClure and family of Cumming, GA, Buster Courtney and family of Hogansville, GA, Ann Denney and family of Jonesboro, GA, Joyce Andrews of LaGrange GA; extended family members Kitty Dopp and family of Hogansville, GA, Johnny, Shannon and Charlee Maggart of West Point, GA., and many more family and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her Husband George Calvin Cotton of West Point GA, and sister Jean Cunningham of Roanoke AL.

Ann retired from West Point Pepperell, Lanett Mill after many years of service. She was a dedicated member of Reeds Chapel Baptist Church in West Point, GA. Ann enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves baseball and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ann had numerous friends and enjoyed spending time with them and helping others. She will be greatly missed by all.
