Carol Jean Haynes, born on January 12, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in Monroe, Georgia. She was 76 years old.

Carol’s life was rooted in the state of Georgia, where she was born and spent much of her life surrounded by family and community. Her journey through life was marked by devotion to her loved ones and a quiet strength that touched those around her. She had a profound love for animals, especially for her beloved Buddy, Bear, Patty, and Ralphie.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Angela and Allen Horne of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Brenda and Benjamin McKenzie of Carrollton, Georgia; Deanna and Jimmy Koutras of Boulder, Colorado. Carol’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Thomas and Chelsea Crunk of Buford, Georgia; Emily and Adolfo Flores of Marietta, Georgia; and Morgan Koutras of Boulder, Colorado. Great granddaughters, Audrianna and Scarlett Flores.

Carol was preceded in death by her Parents Lynn P. Green and Helen Nabors Arnold,
Grandson: Christopher Trey Barrett Sisters: Linda Lord, Barbara Royals Arnold.
Their memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.
