I still have wonderful childhood memories of family gatherings at "Auntie's" and Uncle Simon's home in Hogansville. The warm hospitality was a definite reflection of two sweet and generous souls. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends as they celebrate an amazing life. Heaven has no doubt gained an angel. Phyllis D.Kirby Houston,TX

Sending warm thoughts and condolences to the family. I have fond memories of Doris and her husband, Simon, and how they worked tirelessly in their ministry and assisted others in getting to church, etc. They would pick us up when we didn't have transportation. As you celebrate her life, may the God of all comfort also grant you peace and hope. "There is going to be a resurrection", and I look forward to thanking them both for the love they showed to my family. (John 11:25). The Reese Family/Grantville, GA
