The caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Charles L. Scarver.

Mr. Scarver transitioned into eternity Wednesday, December 28, 2025, at the age of 82.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, January 9, 2026, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00am from the sanctuary of the Center Ridge Baptist Church 822 Co Rd 25, Midway, AL.

The eulogy will be given by Elder Jimmy Reeves.

Interment will follow in the Marianna AME Church Cemetery, 645 Williams Mill Rd., Calyton, AL.
