Obituary For Mr. Stanley McCants

McCants, Mr. Stanley, a resident of Valley, AL, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his residence.

Stanley R. McCants, affectionately called “Rooster”, was born September 22, 1964 to Willie Roy and Betty J. Carter McCants. At an early age, Stanley joined Community Baptist Church in Valley, AL.

His education was received in the Chambers County School System, graduating in the Class of 1983 from Valley High School. During his work tenure, he was employed with West Point Stevens. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents. He departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his residence.

His survivors include: one sister, Cynthia (Rev. James, Jr.) Core, Opelika, AL; three brothers, Warren (Pamela) McCants, Cusseta, AL, Roy (Debra) McCants, Columbus, OH and Antwoine (Althea) Gipson, Tuscaloosa, AL; two aunts, Elsie Wanda (George) Huguley and Rosetta Avery both of Valley, AL; five uncles, John McCants, Sacramento, CA, Rev. Richard, Jr. (Brenda) Carter, Phenix City, AL, William (Carolyn) Carter, Detroit, MI, Dr. Charles Carter, Valley, AL and Bruce (Diane) Carter, Gainesville, FL; four nieces, Nia McCants, LaShay Smith, Stephanie McCants and Keyonna McCants; five nephews, Kwame McCants, Ryan McCants, SSG Tommy (Denell) Smith, Jamario (Kry) McCants and Jartinez (Beverly) McCants; and, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
