Mrs. Barbara Jean Brown passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on March 12, 1946, to the late Georgia Bell Menefield Smith in Columbus.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Brown will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. Mary's Apostolic Church of God at 1:00 PM with interment at Green Acres Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, from 2 until 5:00 PM at Progressive.
