One of the nicest people I've ever known. Garlon touched a lot of people. Remember one day after I left Lafayette, he came driving up at my farm at Union Springs. I couldn't believe he had came that far and found me. That meant so much to me. That was just the kind of man he was. A true friend! Rest In Peace my friend!!

When Daddy died many people came to me and spoke of how he had helped them in one way or another through the years. Made us feel good to know. I'm sure your Daddy was like that too. Garlon was the kindest, most generous person I know.
