Ms. Betty Ann Holmes passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on June 1, 1946, to the late Simon King and Elizabeth Williams King in Fayetteville, NC.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, John Henry Randall, Barbara Williamson, and Michelle Williamson; seven siblings, Charles Williams, Bernard King, Simon King, Gladys Taylor, Brenda Williams, Lillie Mae Cross (James), and Hazel Bennett.

Cherishing her Memories: husband, James Holmes; children, Saundra Green, Charles Williamson and Patricia Denson (Edward); three siblings Carolyn Woods, Veola Evans, and Mary Howard (Charles); 13 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Betty Holmes will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Progressive.
