Mr. John Morris Chaney passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on October 18, 1955, to the late Morris Chaney and Annie Bell Askins Chaney in England.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Chaney will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Springfield Baptist Church with interment at Old Saint John Cemetery in Waverly Hall. Visitation will be held on Saturday. 12 -3:00 PM at Progressive.
