Donald Richards "Pastor Don"

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Donald Duane Richards, who left us on February 2, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born on July 31, 1955 in Baltimore City, MD.

Donald was a devoted father, dog grandfather, and friend. He was known for his dedication to the Lord, dry wit, willingness to help when needed, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Donald cherished his family above all, and his love for his children, Amanda and James, and his grand-dogs Faith, Irish(dec.), Kole(dec.), Toby, Spencer and Duke knew no bounds.

Donald spent his life doing what he loved, including preaching the gospel, reading, and exploring the great outdoors. Throughout his life, he was an inspiration to those around him with his strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Richards, father, Howard Richards, brother Gordon Richards, and sisters Debra (Richards) Banderas and Karen Richards. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Richards, son, James Richards, and beloved fur baby Faith.

A private memorial service will be held for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Walton County.
Rest in peace, dear Donald. You will forever remain in our hearts.
