Obituary For JoAnn Rosser

We respectfully announce the passing of Ms. JoAnn Rosser, age 67, of 201 West Boyd Road in Hogansville, Ga. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Destiny Worship Center International, 190 Industrial Drive in Hogansville, Georgia. Rev. Christopher Evans, Pastor and Rev. Reginald Sims, Eulogist.

Ms. Joann Rosser was born on March 25, 1951 to the late Willie Sam Towns and Doris Rosser Jackson in Troup, County. She left her footprints in the sand of time until God saw she was tired and called her home on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Joann received her education in the Troup County School System where she later finished from Ethel W. Kight High School in Lagrange, Ga. In her later years, she worked for Royal Molding (Ocean Knight) for 35 years then later joined Continental until god plucked her flower from his holy garden. She enjoyed working, fishing, listening to her blues, working in her yard, her family and especially talking on the phone.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers; Charlie Ed Rosser and Willie Jackson; one sister Carrie House.

She leaves to cherish her two most precious hearts Dennis (Tanya) Boyd, Lagrange, Ga and Tyrus (Gloria) Rosser, Columbus, Ga; two brothers, David (Jacqueline) Rosser, AL, Jerry Rosser, Lagrange, Ga, eight sisters, Carolyn McCrary, Newnan, Ga, Hilda Jackson, Hogansville, Ga, Wanda Rosser, Lagrange, Ga, Angie (William) Goodwin, Union City, Ga, Eva (Jack) Brown, Hogansville, Ga; Betty Boyd, Hogansville, Ga; Sevor Glover and Lucy Kate Dallas, Atlanta, Ga; eight grandchildren, Alexis “Trice” Fields, Denagio and Traviera Sewell, Doshni Boyd, Trinatee Williams, KaNeisha Russell, TyQuadre and TyQuavious Rosser; three great-grandchildren, Trashawn Ray, Ny’La and Amaru Tigner; a special friend Sonya, and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends.
