Herman Williams, son of the late Jerry and Mellinee Williams, was born on April 2, 1954. He was the fifth of six children.
He departed this life on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Phenix City, AL.
Herman confessed Christ at an early age at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL, under the leadership of Pastor W.L. Lewis. He later joined Faithful Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL.
Herman was a 1972 graduate of Hardaway High School and Meadows College of Business, Columbus, GA. He served honorably in the United States Army and retired from Dolly Madison.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Mellinee Williams and siblings, Mellinee Williams, Nora McFolley and Samuel Williams.
Cherishing his memories, his wife, Diana Williams of Phenix City, AL; two sons, Roderick Terrell Williams of Columbus, GA and Chavez Williams of Phenix City, AL; two sisters, Ann Williams of Columbus GA and Linda (Arthur Jr. Denson of Midland, GA; six
grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Pamela Williams; one maternal aunt, Mamie Ezekiel; a host of nieces and nephews (who loved him dearly) and relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Williams will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Faithful Missionary Baptist Church with interment at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
