Jacquelyn “Jackie Ann” Pittman

05/10/1960 - 10/21/2024

Jacquelyn "Jackie Ann" Pittman, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, passed away on October 21, 2024 in Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, Georgia. She was born on May 10, 1960 in West Point, Georgia to her loving mother Mary Francis Pittman and her father, the later Gussie Winston.

Jackie Ann attended West Point High School where she excelled in basketball, which she played passionately.

Throughout her life’s journey, it was filled with love and laughter alongside heartache and loss - including the passing of her father, Gussie Winston. Jackie Ann found solace in the unwavering support from her two best friends Mary "Choo Choo" Stafford and Byron Ross, who became family over time.

Jackie Ann dedicated herself to caring for those around her. Her kindness extended beyond blood ties to include Di’mond Winston who served as more than just a caregiver but a true companion during difficult times.

“Jackie Ann” accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Keeney Memorial United Methodist Church, West Point, Georgia. Her presence at church was not only felt but embraced wholeheartedly by all who knew her there. The community has lost one of its most devoted members whose absence will be deeply felt for years to come.

In this moment of profound grief following Jackie Ann’s departure from this world far too soon we must remember that while she may no longer walk among us physically; memories shared together are eternally preserved within our hearts where they shall remain forevermore.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Wright.

Jackie Ann's legacy lives on through her daughter, Stephanie (Juarez) Miller of West Point, Georgia, whom she cherished deeply; her grandchildren Adrian(Taia) Winston and Omarion Miller, of West Point, GA, whom brought immense joy into her life; Jackie Ann's memory will also be treasured by her siblings: Curtis(Tonya)Winston of Loganville, Georgia, Karen(David) Pittman of West Point, Georgia, Catherine Boyd of Chicago Illinois, Janice(Johnny-Deceased) Bandy of West Point, Georgia; Shirley(Gene-Deceased)Barnes of Shawmut, Alabama, Darnell(Renee) McCullough of West Point, Georgia, Eric(TyWanda) Brewer of LaGrange,Georgia, Tim(Roxanne)Winston of Valley, Alabama, Tabitha(Virgil) Truitt of Lanett, Alabama; her uncle, Franklin(Dorothy-Deceased)Winston of Lanett, Alabama; her aunt, Dorothy(Amos-Deceased) Pittman, West Point, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
