Jimmy Albert Lizer, born on March 15, 1929, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, passed away on September 30, 2024, in Athens, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ruth. He was a beloved father to his three children, Greg, Shawn, and Eric.

Jimmy cherished the simple pleasures in life, particularly enjoying his favorite foods, which included pizza, fish, shrimp, and french fries. He was known for his warm smile and kind heart, traits that endeared him to many.

He is survived by his siblings, Thelma and Bill, who will remember him fondly. Jimmy's legacy lives on through his children and the countless memories shared by friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
