David William Peacock 81 of Lafayette AL died peacefully at his residence on Friday September 13th 2024 he was born to the late Vern and Elizabeth Peacock on August the 22nd 1943 in Brown County Indiana

He is survived by his longtime companion Jerri Holladay of LaFayette and his daughter Samantha Peacock of Milton Florida. David graduated from Western Illinois with a BS degree in science he spent many years working in restaurants where he learned to be a fabulous chef. He was a contractor by trade and he loved building and repairing things David loved to garden and loved his flowers he was a pet lover and would take on any strays that came along. He also loved Alabama football.

A private celebration will be held at a later date.
