Reverend Jerome Rogers, 71, a resident of Ellenwood, Georgia and a native of Columbus, Georgia joined his parents: Ella Mae and Taylor Rogers; five sisters, Beatrice Buckner, Jewell Murry, Martha Vaughn, Orelia Williams and Catherine Woodard; four brothers, Taylor Rogers III, Julius Rogers, Lee Alford Roger and James A. Rogers in Heaven on Friday, May 24, 2024.

He is survived by one brother, Douglas Edward Rogers, Jr. (Jessie); favorite niece, Regina Faye Rogers; favorite nephew, Douglas Edward Rogers, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Service for Rev. Rogers is scheduled to take place at 12 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Peters Chapel AME Church with interment taking place at Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2 until 5:00 PM at Progressive.
