Celebration of Life
Mr. Aaron "Ham" Hunt
February 5, 1952 - May 22, 2024

Aaron "Ham" Hunt was born February 5, 1952, in Manchester, GA, to the late Jim and Pearl Hunt. He attended public schools in Merriweather County. Upon graduation, he served in the United States Army.

Aaron attended Atlanta Area Technical College and received a certificate in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration. In addition, he graduated from Columbus Technical College with a degree in Major Appliance Technology. He was employed at Fieldcrest Mill, where he underwent training and specialized in Robotic Engineering. Through his incredible work ethic, he dedicated 20 years of service to Fieldcrest Mill where he eventually retired. He later started his own HVAC and major appliance repair business.

Aaron associated himself with several local churches within the community. As a result, he came to know God in a personal way, and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In his private time, he enjoyed strengthening his knowledge in the Word of God, becoming an avid reader of the Bible.

Aaron was the Atlanta Braves’ number-one fan. His hobbies included gardening, and his prize possession was his yard. His greatest blessing was being called "Pop-Pop."

He was a member in good standing of the Back to Basic Group of Alcoholics Anonymous and has been for the last 29 years. He was dependable and the group members could rely on him when needed. The group will truly miss him. He was a loyal, devoted, and trusted friend to many.
