Francine “Scina” Billingslea

01/03/1942 - 05/14/2024

Mrs. Francine “Scina” Billingslea, 82, of Manchester, GA, formerly of West Point, GA, gained her wings into eternal rest on May 14, 2024 at Warm Springs Medical Center, Warm Springs, GA.

Francine Billingslea affectionately referred to as "Scina," was born January 03, 1942, to the parentage of the late Mr. Anderson Trammell and Mrs. Clara Mae Nolan West. She loved the Lord and professed saving faith in Jesus Christ at an early age at the Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, 2400 Old West Point Road, West Point, Georgia, under the tutelage of the late Reverend B.C. Carter.

Scina graduated from Harrison High School in West Point, Georgia, and advanced her studies at the historical Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1961, Scina united in marital bliss with her high school sweetheart and soulmate of 63 years, Eulace Billingslea. Shortly after, the couple moved to Boston, Massachusetts, to pursue new career pathways. Scina retired from Gillette / Proctor and Gamble with over 30 years of service.

In 1987, the couple returned to West Point. With entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance, they opened a one-stop carwash and body shop. That business concept proved to be an asset to the city's economy, as over time, the business saw steady growth and employed more than 20 employees.
Scina was multitalented. She enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, and dabbling with stringed instruments. By default, she was an interior designer with an excellent sense of fashion. She had a keen eye for intricate details and developed an appreciation for life's finer things. She was well-traveled and often traveled long distances to spend time with family and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Clara Mae Nolan West; her father, Mr. Anderson Trammell; stepmother, Mrs. Betty Trammell; in-laws, Mr. Pal and Mrs. Nellie M. Billingslea; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lee Billingslea, Mr. Beother Billingslea, and Mr. James Billingslea; and sister-in-law, Ms. Julia Billingslea,
Tuesday, May 14, 2024, while in the comfort of her home, Francine peacefully entered eternal rest with her husband by her side.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband, Eulace Billingslea; sister Jennie Trammell (LaGrange, GA); brother George (Jennifer) Jennings (Luthersville, GA); sisters-in-law Willie Mae Billingslea, Dorothy Billingslea (West Point, GA), and Viola Billingslea (Jonesboro, GA); a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends; and God children Victor Lipscomb (Lanett, AL), LaFranco (Miracle) Williams, Dedrick Little, and Bobby Williams Jr. (West Point, GA).
