Larry Dale Ford, age 88, passed away on April 26, 2024. He was born on November 29, 1935. Larry was a lifelong resident of West Point, Georgia. He is known for his whit, kindness, willingness to help anyone in need and "Never Met a Stranger". Larry worked as an automotive parts specialist. He had a passion for cars and good southern food. He loved his fried chicken, collard greens and RC cola. He served in the Army and loved his country. He was a member of Lanett Church of Christ.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Murry and Iris Ford. He is survived by his brother Forrest Ford, one niece, Lori Ford-Simmers and two nephews, Vincent & Phillip Ford, and Phillips son, Garrison.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 11:00 EST at Valley-Point Funeral Home in Lanett, Alabama followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM EST.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a gift to the American Legion (mylegion.org).
