Our beloved father Jimmy Eugene Woods passed away peacefully in his home on February 25, 2024, at the age of 64.

Born in Alma, GA, April 14, 1959, and a long time native of both Winder, GA and Five Points, AL. Jimmy had a love for fishing, but everyone knows his true passion was work. Jimmy owned several paving businesses throughout his lifetime and some of his happiest moments were laying asphalt alongside family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Earlline Woods, Brothers Tommy, Teddy and Stevie Woods all of Winder, GA.

He is survived by his former wife Conception Woods of Five Points, AL, Children Chad, Misty and Mandy Woods all of Winder, GA, and stepdaughter Fionah Prajes of Five Points, AL. Sisters Carole Downey of Flowery Branch, GA and Teresa Woods of Athens, GA. He has 7 grandkids, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews all of which he loved dearly. Caregivers Laclac Montejo and Jacob Brisky.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 2nd, at 1 PM following a visitation from 12 to 1 PM at Valley-Point Funeral Home and Cremation 1011 N. Lanier Ave. Lanett, AL 36863

Immediately following the service there will be a repast held at the funeral home with food and drinks.
