Obituary For Thomas C. Love

Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the transition of Mr. Thomas C. Love, 94, of Union Springs, Alabama on August 5, 2018.

Affectionately known as Tommie, Mr. Love was born May 18, 1924.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 12:30 from the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Interment with military honors will follow all services.

Public visitation will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

Thomas C. Love was born May 18, 1924 in Union Springs, Alabama to the late Albert and Georgia Love. At an early age he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He enlisted in the UNITED STATES NAVY and retired as a cook. He enjoyed outdoor and lawn work.

He departed this life on Aug. 5, 2018 at Southern Springs Healthcare Facility.

He was preceded in death by three (3) loving sisters and two (2) loving brothers. T.C. leaves to cherish his memories, one (1) daughter Mary Alice Love, Houston, TX numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins, including a very devoted niece Lucy L. (Charlie) Smith Union Springs, AL., along with his extended family, the Southern Springs Healthcare Facility Staff.
