Obituary For LaShawn Johnson Gipson

Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mrs. LaShawn Johnson Gipson, 42, of Union Springs, Alabama on July 28, 2018

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:30 from the sanctuary of the Old Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, of Union Springs, Alabama.

The pastor, Dr. James Gochett, will deliver the message of comfort and strength.

Interment will follow in the Old Sardis Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. Gipson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.

Public visitation will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to support the Gipson, Johnson and Calhoun familes with End of Life Services.

Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18; God's name) promises that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. Isaiah 26:19.."And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Read John 5:28,29. What a wonderful time that will be when we will see our loved ones again right here on the earth! May you find comfort during this difficult time in God’s Word the Bible, because it offers the wonderful hope of seeing her again when all sickness, suffering and even death will be completely wiped away from the earth forever!
