Obituary For Eloise W. Strong

We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Eloise W. Strong, age 65, of Franklin, Georgia on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Hospice LaGrange.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Mount Zion Community Church, 9703 Highway 34, Franklin, Georgia. Pastor Reginald Coleman will officiate and Interment will follow in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Jeffery Strong (Son), 282 Highway 100 in Corinth, Ga. and will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.

Eloise W. Strong was born on September 9, 1952 to the late John C. and Annie Wilkerson in Franklin, Georgia. Eloise peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at West Georgia Hospice.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Willa Lou Wilkerson-Vaughn.

She joined the church at an early age and was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Community Church in Franklin, Georgia.

She leaves to hold dear to her memories husband, O. C. Strong; three children, Jeffrey (Melissa) Strong, Melissa Strong (companion Daniel), Monica (Alfred) Dragg. She also leaves five sisters and one brother, Janice Wilkerson, Judy Harrison, Katie (Willie) Nelson, Patricia (Eugene) Nelson, Tyrone (Judy) Wilkerson, all of Franklin, Georgia and Jackie (Jimmy) Bowles of LaGrange, Georgia; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
