Ms. Helen Gilbert, 76, of West Point, GA, gained her wings into eternal rest on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Florence Hand Nursing Home, LaGrange, GA.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Gilbert will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. ET in the sanctuary of the New Hope Baptist Church, 7259 County Road 267, Lanett, AL 36863 with Rev. Michael Stevenson, Eulogst, Elder Mary Boykin and Rev. Rowell Poole, assisting.

Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery, Austin Street, West Point, GA.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

Helen leaves to cherish four wonderful children: one son, Calvin (Keeley) Lee, Jr.; three daughters; Felicia Bourne (Caregiver), Marie Carter, and Regina (Steven) McQueen; her wonderful grandchildren, Aaron Bourne(Caregiver), Camian(Sequeena)Carter, Raiesha McQueen, Raven McQueen, Tiffany Griffin, Jeremiah Davidson, and a host of great grandchildren, cousins and other relatives and friends with love; Special cousins, Katherine (David) Chelcy, Vannie Edge, Rev. Michael (Jean) Stevenson; a very kind and caring best friend and classmate, Carolyn Robertson and a host of other relatives and friends.
