We respectfully announce the passing of Mr. Receo Remon Harris, age 38, of Grantville, Georgia on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Piedmont Newnan Healthcare.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Mt. Perria Baptist Church located on Mobley Bridge Road in Hogansville, Georgia.
Pastor Dwight Hardaway, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery #2.

Public viewing will be held Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Receo Remon Harris, known to many as Remon, was
born in Newnan, Georgia, on June 24, 1985, to Doris Locke
and Stanley Laye. He was raised by Mattie Clemons and the
late Willie Clemons as well as his adopted grandparents, the
late Louise and Willie Lee Harris.

He accepted Christ at an early age at State Line Baptist Church
and received his education at Greenville High School.

On Friday, August 11, 2023, our quiet smooth operator
departed into eternal rest.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal
grandfathers, Willie Clemons and W.C. Laye; uncle, Kelvin
Clemons; and cousin, Travis Hardaway.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his daughter, Jaelyn
Brooke; grandson, Kaizyn; beloved mother, Doris Locke;
father, Stanley Laye; adopted father, Willie Lewis Harris;
three sisters, Chikietha Clemons, Kayla Clemons, and Ciera
McGee; two brothers, Stanley McGee and Marquise Laye;
grandmothers, Mattie Clemons and Mary Laye; great-
grandmother, Catherine Broome; aunts, Pamela (Richard)
Walker and Sharon Laye; adopted aunts, Connie (Joe Lee) Terry
and Annette (Edrick) Neal; uncles, Ray (Annette) McGhee,
Orlando (Priscilla) Clemons, Winston (Benita) Clemons,
Dexter (Tomeka) Laye, Rudy (Ann) Laye, Demetrius Laye,
and Mark Laye; adopted uncle, Ricky Harris; nieces, Zyah,
Zy’Keiarra, Kaleiyah, Saevionna, and Kambrii; nephews,
Aiden, Anthony, En’Rique, and Massiah; special cousins,
Demarcus, SamTravious, Maurice, Quay, Kenny, Johntavious,
Big Red, PeeWee, Ruenadda, Junebug, Pap, Quin, and Zay;
