We respectfully announce the passing of Mr. Charlie R. Phillips, age 84, of LaGrange, Georgia on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Confidence Missionary Baptist Church located at 705 Colquitt Street in Lagrange, Georgia.

Pastor Michael Jackson will officiate and interment will follow in the Restlawn Memory Garden, 2098 Mooty Bridge Road in LaGrange.

Public viewing will be Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Charlie was 84 years old, born and raised in Troup County. Where he worked most of his career at Kex Milliken, Dunson Mill and with Mr. Kimbles at Kimbles Food by Design.

Charlie is preceded by his father John Rufus Phillips, his mother Lizzie Lou Truitt, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife Pearlie Mae Phillips, his 8 Children (David Parkmond, Phyllis Frazier, Penny Harrison, Stacy Williams, Pete Phillips, Bernard Harris, Justin and Dex Phillips),1 sister Essie Mae Swanson, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
