TORSHEKIA “TCEE” LERTISE HENDERSON was born on November 21, 1976 to Beatrice “Bea” Johnson Henderson and Johnny Ray Henderson, who both preceded her in death.

Tcee completed her education at Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, Alabama. She then went on to further her education in the field of Nursing at Southern Community College in Tuskegee, AL where she became an outstanding Licensed Practical Nurse in 2001.

Tcee touched countless lives in the medical field, but her greatest accomplishment was becoming a mother to six wonderful children.

Tcee devoted her life to Jesus Christ at a young age. She re-established her faith and relationship with God before and through battling her illness.

Tcee was a true angel on earth. She had a heart of gold and knew no stranger. She was compelled to share her love for the Lord with all who would listen with boldness and without shame.

Tcee was a strong woman of God who encouraged others despite her own tests and trials. She was truly a phenomenal woman and a special precious gem. To know Tcee was a priviledge and an honor.

On April 6, 2023, God called His angel Tee home to heaven. She leaves to honor and cherish her memories with six children: Quintavius (fiancée: Andrea Hargrave) Ellington, Islannd Maddox, Brandon Henderson, Gabirel Henderson, Kamil Dauda, and Channing Oree, all of Union Springs, AL; five brothers: Terrence L. Johnson, Chicago, IL, Raymond C. Henderson, Montgomery, AL, Charis A. (Stephanie) Henderson, Chicago, IL, Cecil D. (Jessica) Henderson, Chicago, IL and Bryan Burton, Tuskegee, AL; three grandchildren, several uncles and a host of other family members and special friends.
