Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mrs. Lula B. Rivers, (81) of Cornerstone Community, Union Springs, AL.

Mrs. Rivers transitioned into eternity Friday, January 20, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery Alabama.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday January 27, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00 am from the First Missionary Baptist Church.

The eulogy will be delivered by Pastor Eddie C. Jasper of the Haynes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
