Obituary For Belinda D. Thompkins

Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Ms. Belinda D. “Niecy” Thompkins, at the age of 56.

Affectionately known and loved as “Niecy”, Ms. Thompkins transitioned into eternity Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in Columbus, GA.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday January 27, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2: 00 pm from the New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Union Springs. The eulogy will be delivered by Pastor Henry Streeter of the New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Union Springs, AL.

Interment will follow all services in the Wesley Garden Cemetery, Cornerstone Community, Union Springs, AL. Ms. Thompkins will lie in repose at the church, one hour prior to services on Saturday.

In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.

The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with The Final Life Celebration Arrangements for the late Ms. Belinda D. “Niecy” Thompkins.
