Carter Funeral Home announces the restful transition of Mrs. Jannie Mae Patterson Smith, of Union Springs, Alabama.

Mrs. Smith, 79, peacefully transitioned into eternity on December 28, 2022, in the comfort of her loved ones.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday January 06, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration at will be held Saturday, January 07, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the Center Ridge Missionary Baptist Church of Midway, AL, The message of triumph will be delivered by Pastor EL Heath.

In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
