Ms. Cimby Carole Simpson Woodruff was born May 22, 1963 to Carole Bass Simpson and Phillip Simpson in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Ms. Cimby was a graduate of Benjamin Russell High School Class of 1981. She was very proud of finishing her education and becoming a Paramedic for the Alexander City Fire Department, where she served this community until her health failed. Cimby was a gentle, kind, pure soul who loved everybody. She never met a stranger. Cimby had a heart of gold ,caring for everybody, a born nurturer. She was artistic and imaginative. She was often crafting, decorating, drawing and painting. She had a keen eye for uniqueness and could spot a hidden treasure immediately. Along with artistic abilities, she loved the Sunshine and water. She grew up on Lake Martin and spent most of her life boating and could out fish most! There was only one “Cimby” worldwide and Cimby was as unique as her name. Her radiating smile and outspoken spirit will be truly missed by all who knew her.

On Monday, November, 14, 2022, Cimby was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents Vernon Audrey Simpson, Elizabeth Simpson, William Moss Bass “Buck”, Olive Marion Cox and and brother, Richard Simpson.
