Seven years that blessed her parents, family and friends like the miracles found in a familiar fairy tale.
Once upon a time, the birth angel visited Montgomery, Alabama to make a special delivery on January 5, 2015, to Nacarya Davis and Martavius Parham. The special delivery was a baby girl they would name Taheery Malaysia Parham.
As she grew older, she developed an infectious smile and feisty personality that would light up a room, which was evident in her hobbies. She enjoyed listening to a variety of music including gospel, rap, and country. She enjoyed dancing, and singing, especially one her favorite songs - “Good Times” by country artist, Niko Moon. She also found pleasure in watching Tik Tok videos. Taheery liked to have fun by playing jokes and pranks on her siblings and would start an argument out of spite to lovingly aggravate them. She also understood the value of hard work and earning her own money by charging for every chore and favor she did.
When she started school at Union Springs Elementary School she showed a great passion for learning, especially Reading and Math. She was love by her peers and teachers and might have even been considered a teacher’s pet. She always did her best on her schoolwork. She also enjoyed playing with her classmates.
Taheery loved God and knew that her life and soul belonged to Him and so she decided to live happily ever after in the arms of Jesus Christ. On Sunday, October 30, 2022, God dispatched an angel to reclaim Taheery Malaysia Parham where she could live with Him forever. Those that await her in Heaven are her grandfathers – Michael Lane and Bennie Patterson and great-grandmother – Bobbie Parham.
Her life and story will be forever shared by her mom and dad – Nacarya Davis and Martavius Parham; 3 sisters – Toccara Davis, Azarriah Davis, and Taylor Parham; 3 brothers – Camden Parham, Aadan Smith, and Chance Parham; Grandmothers – Betty Davis & Willie Mae (Derrick) Sterling; Great-grandmother – Mayola Shelley; Aunts – Sheilia Shelley, Sheneavia Jones, Monteequia Parnell, & Tara King; Uncles – Courtney Parham, Dasha Parham, Rashad Parham, Michael (Tasha) Parham, Anthony (Kita) Patterson, Willie Lawrence Minor, Henry Patterson, & Bennie Patterson; Great aunts – Ola Mae Harris, Judy Shelley, & Sandra (Rev. Thomas) Pritchett; Great uncles – Christopher Shelley, Keithy Shelley, & Santavious Parham. Special Cousin/Aunt – Shekeya Shelley; and a host of cousins, other relatives and family friends.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with The Final Life Celebration Arrangements for the late young Miss Taheery Malaysia Parham.
