She attended Bond High School and a graduate of Lincoln Vocational School where she attained her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. Delores was an LPN for over 30 years, she served many deployments such as Germany, Ft. Hood, Texas, and Ft. Benning, Georgia.
She was married for 46 years to her loving husband, the late Willie James, Sr. Their union was blessed with two sons.
Delores was a devoted member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, she served faithfully for many years as an Usher, Deaconess and nurse for the Health and Wellness Committee. She also attended Sunday school.
Other than her parents, Ms. Baldwin was preceded in death by a son, Willie James Baldwin, Jr.; siblings, Ruby Lee Murrell, Eddie Shuler and Joseph Shuler.
She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Anthony Lamar Baldwin (LaTasha); granddaughter, Brooke Baldwin, whom she cherished dearly; six siblings, Pearl Hudson, James Farmer, Jr. (Diane), David Farmer, George Shuler, Jr., Jeanette Dredd (Johnny), and Robert Lee Shuler; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Delores Baldwin will be on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church at 10:00 AM. Service will be live-streamed (see clickable link below)
Visitation is Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Progressive. Interment will be on Saturday, October 15, 2022, 11:00 AM at Southside Cemetery in Tallahassee, FL.
