Charles Louis Trammell III, affectionately called “Stoonk”, was born on August 31, 2001 to Charles and Shenica Tucker Trammell in Heinsberg, Germany. He left this world tragically on August 27, 2022 at age 20. Charles III was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and teammate.

Charles III attended O’Connor High School in San Antonio, TX. He played football in high school and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. His dream was to further his education and play in the NFL. He graduated from O’Connor High School in 2019 and accepted a football scholarship to attend Texas Wesleyan University beginning his football career with the Texas Wesleyan Rams Football Team in Fort Worth, TX.

Charles was a “gentle giant” who always brought a smile to your face. He was a servant leader who lost his life serving others. People describe Charles as a selfless young man who was happy to be a friend that other people could count on. He would drop everything to help someone in need. On August 27, 2022, Charles performed his last act of service as a “Good Samaritan” helping his friend change her tire. He will leave behind a legacy of kindness and service to others before self!

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Charles and Shenica Trammell, San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Serenity Trammell and Trinity Trammell both of San Antonio, TX; his grandmothers, Pastor Mamie L. Pennington, Lanett, AL and Wanda A. Tucker, Hogansville, GA; aunts and uncles, Mike Holmes, Opelika, AL, Demetrius Trammell, Hartselle, AL, Albert Trammell, Shari Boddie, Jontae Williams, Faith Trammell and Charnika Trammell all of Lanett, AL, Zanedra Edmonson, LaGrange, GA, Kishieka (Wendell) Hadnot, Ft. Worth, TX, Jason Jackson, Valley, AL and George (Falen) Trammell, Phenix City, AL; great-uncles and great-aunts; and a host of cousins, friends and teammates.
