Mr. Jackie Wilson (Chicken Man) passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the age of 56. He was born in Columbus on October 19, 1965 to Annie Mae Jones Wilson and the late Sonnie Wilson.

Mr. Wilson attended Jordan High School and was employed with United Fencing.

Other than his father, Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by two sisters, Cassandra Wilson and Belinda Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memories other than his mother, Annie Wilson; one son, Javon Wilson; four sisters, Gwendolyn Wilson-Stafford (Alvin), Annette Clay, Sharon Wilson and Karen Williams (Jeffery); one brother, Kenneth Wilson; a host of many other relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Wilson will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Greater Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Progressive.
