Mrs. Patricia Diane Ghant Watkins passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the age of 63. She was born on July 7, 1958 in Columbus to the late George E. Ghant and Martha Perry Ghant.

Mrs. Watkins was a 1976 graduate of Central High School and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Phenix City. She was employed with Rolling Hills on Fort. Benning as a Chef.

Those left to cherish her memories are, her husband of 41 years, Willie J. Watkins I; two sons, Willie J. Watkins II (Tracy), Marcus Watkins (Tracy); two daughters, Mactrice Watkins (Kenterill), Willena Watkins (Lawrence); two brothers, George Ghant (Annie), Christopher Ghant; three sisters, Sharon Ghant, Sylvia Alexander, Wendy Ghant; eight grandchildren, Kyianna Thomas, Kenterill, Keiren Thomas, Arianna Watkins, Layla Watkins, Ajah Hurrington, Journee, Jalen Pritchett; one great grandchild, Kayson Bennett; a host of many other relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 in the Chapel of Progressive Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM with the interment at Green Acres Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday at 10 AM at Progressive.
