Obituary For Patricia Wallace Patterson

Patricia Wallace Patterson, 58, of Lanett, AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Patricia enjoyed her job as a beautician where she thought of her clients as family. She also enjoyed working in her flower beds, tending to her garden, taking care of her pets, and fishing as often as possible. She was a ray of light who never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by many people. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Harold Wallace. She is survived by her husband, James Allen Patterson; daughter, Tiffany (Martin) Benitez; and brother, Harold "Buddy" Wallace Jr., along with many other friends and family.

The family will greet friends for visitation on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00 EST followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett, AL.

Donations in her honor can be made to local humane societies or to breast cancer research.

Services have been entrusted to Bluffton Funeral Services, Lanett, Alabama.

Tiffany, Buddy, Allen, and family.. I just got the news. I am so very sorry to hear about Trisha. She was one of my oldest and dearest friends. She was the sweetest person and has always been a beautiful soul. So giving and thoughtful and selfless. I'm speechless. We had not caught up in a while and that makes me feel terrible and sad. I love you all and you are in my prayers. It just seams like yesterday we were sitting by the pool at Bobbie's and Tiff was sitting on the table bouncing to "ice ice baby". .. I think you were two. We know she loved and believed in God and His word, and now she is in a beautiful place. She was an angel herself, be comforted in knowing she's with God. 🙏😔

I will miss Patricia. She was so kind and sweet and friends to so many. I was lucky to have called her friend. So many sweet hours spent with her at beauty shop and at a friends back porch during Covid. God gives us friends to love awhile and we have to let go and return them to God. So heartbreaking.
