Obituary For Thelma Spivey Mitchell

We are saddened to announce that Ms. Thelma Mitchell transitioned home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Funeral Service for Ms. Thelma Spivey Mitchell will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 in the Chapel of Wright's Funeral Home with interment following in New Elam Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Hey granny I'm missing you badly it's hurting my heart that I didn't get to say goodbye it was so soon and unexpected I was just so sure you would live to see 100. Im guessing it was god who told me to stop and see you the day before my birthday but who would have ever knew that would've been the last time I would have seen you I would have stayed just a lil longer. It just still doesn't feel real I wish you at least got to see me graduate but I'm guessing god needed you more. Until we meet again granny I love you - your first great granddaughter
