Carter Funeral Home humbly and honorably announces the sudden but peaceful transition of Mr. Steven Smith of Union Springs, Alabama. Mr. Smith, 63, transitioned into eternity on March 10, 2022, at his residence on Thomas Street.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, March 18, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home. The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11:00 am from Mason Cemetery. Pastor Fred Douglas, Sr. of the Mt. Silla Missionary Baptist Church will deliver the message of comfort.

In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
