Obituary For Arthur Davis

Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mr. Arthur Davis, (61), of Union Springs, Alabama.

Mr. Davis passed away in Tuskegee, Alabama at the Magnolia Haven Nursing Home, LLC. on January 17, 2022.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm from the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Union Springs, AL. Pastor James N. Robbins, Sr will deliver the message of comfort.

In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.

MR. ARTHUR DAVIS, son of the late Annie Pearl Davis Woodson, and K P Parker was born July 6, 1960, in Union Springs, Alabama.

Arthur confessed a belief in Christ during his younger years and was a regular attendee at both Mt. Zion and Union Hill Missionary Baptist Churches.

Always hard at work, Arthur was employed as a heavy equipment operator for P J Walker Logging Company for several years.

Arthur leaves cherished memories with several loving family members and friends, including the love of his life and his longtime companion for over thirty-five years, Juanita “Lady” Harris, his sisters, Jude Pearl (late Adam Lamones) Davis, Hattie Mae Davis, and Minnie Jean Parker (Lovie) Crawford; his brothers, Robert (Mary) Davis, Kelly (Pam) Davis, and Willie James (Mary) Parker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, including Barbara Davis, Freddie Davis, Sheila Messam, Joseph Messam, Rodney Davis, Crystal Davis, Kelly Davis, Jr., Patrick Davis, Sherry Davis, Theresa Parker, Lisa Parker, Willie James Parker, Jr and Winston Davis, Jr.
