Obituary For Johnny Lee Smith

Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mr. Johnny Lee Smith, (68), of Union Springs, Alabama.

Mr. Smith passed away January 17, 2022, at his residence.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Celebration at Graveside will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Mason Cemetery in Union Springs, AL.

In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.

His earthly journey began August 9, 1953, in Bullock County, Alabama. Johnny Lee was the son of the late Mr. Son Broaden and Ms. Susie Smith.

With his early life direction supplied by his parents and his loving family, Johnny Lee confessed a belief in Christ at an early age. He was formally educated in the public schools of Bullock County, AL and spent his lifetime working at various jobs. His restful time was spent outdoors. Johnny Lee had a special love for fishing. He peacefully entered eternal rest January 17, 2022, in Union Springs, AL and was ushered into eternal peace by his parents and other family members that preceded him in death

His earthly life experience has left cherished memories with his family and many friends throughout the area
