Mrs. Mary Baldwin Washington passed away Sunday at the age of 93 in Fayetteville, GA surrounded by her loving family.

The only daughter of the late John Sr. and Lizzie Franklin Baldwin, Mrs. Washington was born in Shack, GA and attended Radcliff High School. She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church where she served diligently with the Ushers and Culinary Ministries. She retired from the Commissary at Ft. Benning, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Willie Washington, two daughters, Daisy Richardson and Kathy Henning Clark, and four brothers, Pearlie, Eddie K., Elijah and Willie Baldwin.

Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: her son, Thomas Debarlabon (Angelia); three daughters, Jimmie White (Howard), Shirley Henning, Wendy Washington Dixon (Eric); six grandchildren, Mark Ball, Chris Richardson, Michael White (Lynn), Dawn Hill, Jewel Dixon and Frank Dixon; seven great grandchiildren, Chelsea, Miya, Morgan, McKenzie, London, Monteria and Khalia; one brother, John Baldwin, Jr. (Vivian), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Washington will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with Pastor David Stallion officiating.

The interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 1 till 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
