Obituary For Beverly Smith

Mrs. Beverly Smith, 73 of Lanett, AL passed away at Bethany House, Auburn AL. on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Mrs. Smith was born in Langdale AL on September 15, 1944. She was a graduate of Valley High School, Valley AL and Clayton State College and University in Morrow GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Freeman and Avene Brown Freeman; and aunt Connie Humphrey. She is survived by husband Ed Smith: her sons Tim Earl, and Joey(Nathalie) Earl; granddaughter Katherine Rose Earl; close friends Virginia Reid and Harriett Combs; and her poodle “Jamie”.

Beverly was a very kind hearted and loving person and mother to her two sons. She was a very forgiving and intelligent person who loved animals. She was a voracious reader and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 12:30 PM EDT until 1:30 PM EDT at Bluffton Funeral Services. The visitation will be followed by a graveside service at Fairfax Cemetery, Valley Alabama at 2:PM EDT with Reverend Brad Reed and Father Ronnie Madden officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Beverly was one of my best friends. We have known each other since we were 4 yrs.old She had the most Beautiful smile and those dimples were Gorgeous. She also had the cutest Little giggle She was always a pleasure to be around. She never complanded at least not Out loud.
